Cutting Edge does not currently offer financing. You can still get a project estimate from us and use it to explore payment options with a bank, credit union or another lender of your choice.

We start by understanding the work you want and the selections that shape it. Your itemized estimate gives you a clear scope to review before deciding how to pay for the project.

If you’re considering borrowing, compare the payment, fees and total cost with the lender. Requesting a remodel estimate from us is a project conversation, not a credit application.

A Personal Loan

A personal installment loan provides a sum of money that you repay over a set period. The lender determines the terms, and rates and fees can vary.

Ask about the APR, repayment schedule and total cost. Compare offers directly with the lenders you’re considering.

A Home Equity Loan

A home equity loan lets you borrow against equity in your home. It typically provides a lump sum and uses the home as collateral.

Your home can be at risk if you cannot repay it. Review fees and the full repayment obligation with the lender, not just the monthly payment.

Questions About Paying for a RemodelQuestions About Paying for a Remodel

Know what our estimate covers and where a lender’s decisions begin. These answers can help you plan your next conversation.Know what our estimate covers and what to discuss with a lender.

Does Cutting Edge offer financing?

We do not currently offer financing or have a lending program to apply to through this website. You can request a remodeling estimate and discuss independent payment options with a lender of your choice.

Is requesting an estimate a credit application?

No. Our estimate form asks about your project and how to reach you. It does not apply for credit or request your financial account details.

Can I adjust the scope before deciding how to pay?

Yes. We can discuss the layout, materials and work in your estimate. Understanding those choices helps you decide which parts of the project matter most before you approve it.

What should I ask about the interest rate?

Ask for the annual percentage rate, or APR, and whether the rate is fixed or can change. The lender should explain how a change could affect your payments.

How should I compare the payments?

Compare both the monthly payment and the total amount you would repay. A smaller monthly payment alone does not tell you the full cost of borrowing for your remodel.

Which fees should I check?

Ask about upfront charges, late fees and any charge for paying off the loan early. Read those terms in the written offer before deciding whether to accept it.

When would the money be available?

Confirm the lender’s approval requirements and when funds would be available. Once you understand that timing, discuss the project schedule with us so you can plan the next steps.

Can you tell me what rate or payment I would qualify for?

No. The lender determines eligibility, rates, fees and repayment terms. Ask the lender to explain those details directly and review the written terms before making a decision.
